EBSR operates in biosensor research and development within the joint laboratory NANOBIOSENS at the University of Florence.
EBSR, in collaboration with the “Mario Serio” Department of Biomedical, Experimental and Clinical Sciences has set up a joint laboratory at the Department headquarters.

The aim of the NANOBIOSENS joint laboratory is to carry out research, study, development and implementation of new strategies for processing of biosensors of analytical interest, through the immobilization of suitably-identified and isolated biomolecules. It also aims to participate to national and international research projects in the health, the environment and food analysis.
