HM-Sensors are three electrode electrochemical cells where the working electrode has been specifically modified for the determination of heavy metals including zinc, cadmium, led and copper, coupled with anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV). HM-sensors may be applied for disposable use or, alternatively, for continuous environmental monitoring or depuration processes. The electrode surface can be easily regenerated using a simple electrochemical treatment. Using the standard addition method in acidified samples, HM-sensors may be applied for the quantitative analysis of heavy metals in real samples by achieving a limit of detection in the order of mg/L. Each electrode is produced by screen-printing technology and consist of a round-shaped working electrode (3 mm diameter), a silver pseudo reference electrode and a graphite counter electrode.

The sensors of the “G-Sensors” line are three electrode electrochemical cells with a graphite working electrode, suitable for a wide range of analytical applications. Each electrode is produced by screen-printing technology and consists of a round-shaped graphite working electrode (3 mm diameter), a silver/silverchloride pseudoreference electrode and a graphite counter electrode. The miniaturized electrode dimensions consent the use of these devices with small sample volumes while their low cost allow disposable use. The special planar shape allows the use as “drop-on” devices, avoiding the waste of reagents and samples. In order to adopt the sensors for any requested applications, the graphite can be modified through direct adsorption or chemical binding of a wide range of biomolecules. These modifications may be carried out by Ecobioservices upon request.

AU-Sensors are three electrode electrochemical cells equipped with a gold working electrode. As for the G-sensors, these miniaturized sensors have a silver/silver chloride presudo reference electrode and a graphite counter electrode. The screen-printed gold-based working surface presents electrochemical properties similar to those of bulk gold electrodes, allowing many applications but overcoming the problem related to electrode surface cleaning and regeneration. Each electrode is produced by screen-printing technology and consists of a round-shaped gold-based working electrode (3 mm diameter), a silver/silver chloride pseudo reference electrode and a graphite counter electrode. The special planar shape allows the use of the sensors as “drop-on” devices, avoiding the waste of reagents and samples.
